Two person teams: One person sits in a snow saucer (provided) and the other person pushes he/she down the lane to see how many pins they can knock over. 3 frames. $5.00 per person, 100% cash payout.  Candlelight Ski/Hike
Saturday, February 3, 2018. 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Cross-country ski or hike in the Kettle Moraine State Forest-Northern Unit by candlelight. At the bonfire join fellow hikers and skiers for hot drinks and snacks provided by the Friends of the Kettle Moraine. The trail is perfect for novice skiers with no steep hills or sharp turns. The Zillmer shelter building will be open, lit, and heated. A Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission sticker is required, but trail passes are not needed for the event.  Dogsled Demo
Saturday, February 3, 2018. 9:30 am. Learn about the history of Siberian huskies and the sport of dog sledding. Program is outdoors; snow not necessary. Ride availability depends on weight and on the dogs; preference will be given to little people (kids) in order to permit the greatest number of rides. $3 per person; additional $2 for ride.  Family Nature Hike-Howling at the Moon
Saturday, February 3, 2018. 6:30 pm. Spend time with a naturalist on a family-friendly hike. Take a hike with us to discover the forest in the dark. Look at the stars and listen to some star stories. We'll also howl at the moon and listen for coyotes howling back. If the snow is deep enough, we'll use Havenwoods' snowshoes.  Pike Lake Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe
Saturday, February 10, 2018. 6:00 pm. 300 candles will welcome all to Pike Lake's 29th Annual Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe. Groomed trails, a roaring bonfire, a warming shelter, warm refreshments and big smiles will make a memorable evening, with or without snow. Northern Cross Science Foundation members will set up telescopes to provide star viewing and guidance. The Friends of Pike Lake and State Forest rangers will be on hand to provide help and guidance. Learn about healthy, beyond organic, pasture-based farming and food production first hand.
