In this hilarious 90-minute show, two performers play 13 roles - not to mention the piano - in a witty and winking homage to old-fashioned murder mysteries.  Variations on a Theme: Vessels from RAM's Collection

The 50 plus examples on display in this exhibition-made of clay, glass, and metal and pulled from RAM's extensive holdings of contemporary craft-underscore the idea that there are many ways to interpret or investigate what a vessel could or should look like. A dysfunctional family with a dash of Chekov takes center stage at the Racine Theatre Guild in "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" from January 12 through 28. Vanya and Sonia are living their mundane lives when their movie star sister, Masha, swoops in with her much younger boyfriend, Spike. The siblings, all with extremely different personalities, reflect on life and circumstances that have brought them together.  Small Gifts from Big Donors - Part 3

Small Gifts from Big Donors is an exhibition series that focuses on the small-scale gifts of twelve significant contributors to what has become America's largest collection of contemporary craft. Throughout 2017, selections from their donations will be featured, with four donors being represented at a time.  Animal Farm

When the animals of Manor Farm drive out their abusive farmer, they take over running the farm for themselves.  Here We Make Our Home Exhibit

This exhibit aims to create a respectful dialogue within participating schools on the immigration stories students posses through family heritage or even personal experience. This project invites the participating teachers to explore with their students the visual, poetic, and metaphoric imagery that the migratory nature of birds provides along with the idea of home and settlement which a birdhouse can represent.  First Fridays Returns at the Cedarburg Cultural Center
Friday, October 6, 2017 through Friday, May 4, 2018. 6pm-9pm. First Fridays is presented on the first Friday of the month, Oct 2017 through May 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. inside the Cedarburg Cultural Center. In the 2017-2018 season, guests will be greeted to a performance at 6:00pm followed by the featured band at 7:00pm. Kid's craft hour is 6-7:00pm. Other activities include a local art show and monthly art exhibit. The lights go down at 7:00pm and as the headliner takes the stage and the Center's full cash bar and dance floor multiply the fun.  Karen Johnson Boyd: From the Vault
Friday, August 4, 2017 through Friday, July 27, 2018. Karen Johnson Boyd was an advocate for and collector of art who had a strong affinity for contemporary American craft. This Windows on 5th installation pays homage to her role in establishing RAM's craft collection by featuring large-scale ceramic work that she donated to the museum over the years. With works presented as if being pulled from crates or out of storage, this exhibition offers a playful take on building a collection, honoring a donor, and managing works of art.
